Padiham is about three miles (5 km) west of Burnley and south of Pendle Hill, in Lancashire, England. It is part of the Borough of Burnley, but has its own town council with varied powers. Padiham was originally a rural village lying by the River Calder. It is still surrounded by attractive countryside on an arc running from the north-west to the north-east in the foothills of Pendle Hill.
According to the United Kingdom Census 2021, the parish has a population of 10,527,1 an increase from 10,098 in the 2011 census.2

Mission Statement
Padiham Town Council is made up of 15 individual Councillors who are elected to serve the Community. It employs a Town Clerk and an Assistant Clerk, both of which are available to the Community for information and advice.
Padiham Town Council aims to represent the best interests of the Community by ensuring Padiham is:

The Town Hall has become central to our operations and those of community groups. We will work to maintain the facilities to the highest standards to ensure that it remains open, accessible and a well used town resource.
